IP & DMCA Policy
loving respects intellectual-property rights and expects the stores it hosts to do the same. This policy explains how to report copyright or trademark infringement on a store hosted by loving, and how we handle notices, counter-notices and repeat infringers. It applies to all content on storefronts — including AI-generated storefront code, copy and images — product data, media uploads, reviews and their photos, and support attachments.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content on a loving store infringes your copyright, send us a notice containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The URL (or equivalent precise location) of the allegedly infringing content on the store.
- Your name, address, email and telephone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send notices to our designated contact: reach us from your dashboard, or reply to any email loving has sent you. (A dedicated agent address will be listed here when this policy is finalized with counsel.) Misrepresenting that content is infringing can make you liable for damages.
What happens next
On receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the content promptly, notify the merchant, and give them a copy of the notice. Depending on severity this may mean hiding specific content or taking a storefront offline.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice containing: identification of the removed content and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was mistaken; your name, address and telephone number; consent to the jurisdiction that will be specified when this policy is finalized with counsel; and your signature. If the original complainant does not inform us within ten business days that it has sought a court order, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts and stores of merchants who repeatedly infringe — ordinarily after multiple substantiated notices that are not successfully countered.
Trademark complaints
For trademark complaints (counterfeit goods, infringing brand use), send the same information as a copyright notice, adapted: identify your mark, its registration (where registered), the infringing use and its location. We review trademark complaints case by case and may remove content, require changes or suspend a store.
Your responsibilities as a merchant
You must have the rights to everything you upload or instruct the AI to use — brand assets, product images, copy and media. AI-generated content is provided without a warranty of non-infringement; review it before publishing. Repeated infringement puts your store and account at risk under this policy and the Acceptable Use Policy.
